Emily se réveille au milieu de la nuit à cause d'un bruit étrange venant de la cuisine...

Emily wakes up in the middle of the night because of a weird noise coming from the kitchen...

Elle se lève et va voir dans la cuisine.

She gets up and goes to the kitchen.

Quand elle entre dans la cuisine, elle trouve Philippe, en train de cuisiner.

When she enters the kitchen, she finds Philippe, cooking.

Elle l'appelle par son nom...

She calls him by his name...

Il ne répond pas. Alors Emily se rapproche de lui...

He doesn't answer. So Emily comes closer to him...

Elle comprend soudainement que Philippe n'est pas réveillé... il est somnambule !

She suddenly realizes that Philippe isn't awake... he is sleepwalking!

Alors, elle éteint le four et ramène Philippe dans la chambre.

So she turns off the oven and brings him back to the bedroom.

Le matin, Emily décide de lui poser quelques questions...

Il était en train de mâcher du pain avec du beurre et de la confiture...

He was chewing bread with butter and jam...

EmilyTu as été somnambule hier soir.

Philippe était très surpris...

Emily hoche la tête.

Emily nods.

Philippe demande ce qu'il faisait quand il était somnambule.

Philippe asks what he was doing when he was sleepwalking.

Emily lui dit qu'il cuisinait.

Emily tells him that he was cooking.

Philippe trouvait ça très drôle...

Philippe found it very funny...

Alors Emily aussi se met à rire...

So Emily starts to laugh too...

Philippe hausse les épaules.

Philippe shrugs his shoulders.
