Le temps était parfait pour cela et ils ne voulaient pas manquer cette occasion.
The weather was perfect for this and they did not want to miss this opportunity.
Ils ont emporté tout ce dont ils avaient besoin : deux bouteilles d'eau, deux sandwichs, deux pommes et une trousse de premiers soins.
They took everything they needed: two bottles of water, two sandwiches, two apples and a first aid kit.
Et une fois arrivés à la montagne, ils ont choisi un chemin facile pour commencer.
And once they reached the mountain, they chose an easy path to start.
Après une demi-heure de marche Brigitte se rend compte que c'était beaucoup plus fatiguant que ce qu'elle pensait.
After walking half an hour Brigitte realizes that it was much more exhausting than what she thought.

NicolasOui, fais-moi confiance, c'est le bon chemin. Tout est sous contrôle.

Au bout d'un moment, Nicolas s'arrête, vérifie la carte et comprend qu'ils ont pris le mauvais chemin.
After a moment, Nicolas stops, checks the map and realizes that they took the wrong path.

NicolasD'abord, reposons nous un peu. Ensuite on ira voir la vue depuis ce sommet, et enfin on rentrera à la maison.

Brigitte et Nicolas ont marché jusqu'au sommet le plus proche, et profité enfin d'une magnifique vue sur la nature du sud de la France.
Brigitte and Nicolas walked to the nearest summit, and finally enjoyed the beautiful view of southern France's nature.
C'était vraiment très, très différent de ce qu'ils voyaient d'habitude à Paris...
It was really very, very different from what they usually see in Paris...
Et ils ont trouvé le chemin pour rentrer à la maison avant que la nuit arrive.
And they found the way back home before the night comes.
